This is a repeat visit for me. This hotel is a 2 star overall. The reason is the owners keep the rooms in a run down state and something is either always broken or missing. TVs don't work, if they exist. AC units present but don't work. However they will bring you a fan. When you order meals they take forever to be ready. However the service staff are extremely nice and receptive. This hotel can easily become 5 star if attention to the above is taken. The premises are nicely laid out with nature and natural floral and fruit trees and even a farm with animals. There is good security also.

We had so much fun here! We took the tram to Nellie’s Beach, where we rented a floating mat. It was a nice, small beach area with calm waters. They had a fun giant-sized billiard game and tic-tac-toe.

We then moved to Columbus Cove, which was much larger and had swings, hammocks, and tables with shade in the water. Both beaches were really nice. You can’t go wrong with either, but we ended up staying in Columbus Cove because we liked the bigger area.

At the end of the day, we walked to adrenaline beach, which was stunning. It was a lot less crowded because of the rocky beach areas and higher winds. But they had empty swing beds and tons of empty hammocks.

And lastly we stopped at dragon’s point, which was stunning. It felt like it came right out of a fantasy book.

I really enjoyed this port. The beaches were a bit rocky, so I would recommend bringing water shoes. However there were lots of free activities, and food was served buffet style right by the beach! Overall a great stop with awesome people.

Upon my arrival I specifically asked the gentleman at the front desk that housekeeping not enter my room since they made it crystal clear they wouldn’t be responsible for any valuable items missing that was however never communicated to housekeeping because they came to the room anyway which I stood at the door and handed them the towels to change and also still gave them a tip (JUST BECAUSE)! Just for the day before my departure my Pandora necklace which I had placed on the sink top before going to the pool went missing! Apparently housekeeping went to clean the room during my absence and when I got back I noticed the room was clean however I totally forgot that I had taken off the necklace and left it on the sink top until that same evening when I was heading out to dinner and was looking for my necklace to wear. My frustration was beyond measure because with all that Haiti is going through we (non locals) still give it a chance. This was totally unacceptable and the day of departure I made this known to another front office agent who toke my information and promised to get back to me who never did.

Now onto the next, the breakfast? UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING! I loved everything about the breakfast buffet I give that a 10/10, although I wish it would make up for my missing necklace but it cannot! The bar employees were wonderful both daytime shift and nighttime shift, they were supper amazing!

The rooms are worn out and need some repair, there was no hot water in the bathrooms, the ac was manually turned off from 9am - 4pm which I really didn’t care about because with the height of the rooms you get a lot of cool breeze coming in. The water in the shower toke forever to drain which means it sat there for a long while during showers and after.
The WiFi was in and out during the entire stay.
The tv? Don’t waste your time it’s just there to be there its no use.
The location is great downtown is literally 10 minute drive from the hotel, I would say walking distance however it’s not the best idea to walk to those locations.
Leave it up to me I wouldn’t have complained about anything because I’m not a nagging person however my necklace being stolen by staff members was definitely my last straw.

Would I return? Personally NO!

Labadee is one of my favorite ports! I like it better than Perfect Day at CocoCay. Labadee is the perfect beach getaway, it’s a day to truly relax. CocoCay gives major FOMO with too much to do and too much upcharge possibilities. Labadee only has 3 real up charges (zip line, water slide, roller coaster). We did buy a day bed which was well worth it, but you can go to Labadee and not spend any extra money if you want. It’s beautiful.

This hotel is a beach front property on the road to Labadee. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to see the rooms since there was a mix up with my reservation. The staff was very friendly and gave me a tour of the grounds. Next time.

Please be aware there is another hotel with a similar name, Three Kings Hotel, which is far away in Vertier.

Matthew acerca de Cormier Haiti Beach Resort

The worst service and employees I have ever experienced in Haiti, or anywhere for that matter. The resort was completely understaffed, and it was evident that their only concern was for the day-pass visitors from the cruise ship, not their actual paying guest. One evening we sat in the restaurant for 20 minutes and not a single person waited on us. My wife went to the bar to try and place our food order instead. A bar tender took our order to the cook and the cooks exact words were "I'm too busy, I can't make them food. " Are you SERIOUS! The guest that paid to stay at your hotel, YOU CAN'T SERVE THEM? And, this pretty much sums up my families entire experience here. Terrible service, no hot water, restauant didn't have half the items on the menu, none of the staff willing to help with anything and to top it off the Hotel had a concert one night where they allowed the DJ to play music feom 10pm until 7am. 7AM! What kind of normal functioning hotel does this? Don't call it a beach resort, its just a beach, the resort is dead.

I wen’t to Cap Haitien with my family mostly because my sister and I wanted to get to know our parents country beyond what’s being shown on the news and we definitely had an amazing experience with Safe Trips!

Found their web pages and contacted John-Wesly by WhatsApp and he was such a good help, very patient and is always quickly responding to every questions I had.

Once we got to destination, it was really helpful that we had the picture of the driver we had and he did too because with how full the airport is, it can get overwhelming if you don’t know who to look for…

But from the airport, to all our activities we felt really safe and the service we had was very professional and hospitable with our driver Lucien. He and John-Wesly made sure to always keep in touch with us and despite the unfortunate bad weather we had during our stay, we still manage to make the best out of it.

I would definitely recommend to book with Safe Trips because next time I come, that’s what I’ll do!
